There is a maximum cash back limit of $60 for personal checks whereas you are limited to just $40 at some Wegmans stores.
You can ask for cash back at the counter after your check passes the verification and is being used for making the payment.
For example, let’s say that you have a personal check worth $500. And, you added groceries worth $440 to your cart.
Then, you can request a cash back of $60.
The cashier will hand over the cash after a successful transaction. You can also ask for different cash back denominations like $5, $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, etc.
However, the available denominations will vary from location to location and depends on the cash back policy of the store you visit.
