In order to cash a check at Moneytree –

  2. Enter the ZIP code of your area
  3. Pick a Moneytree branch
  4. Click on the View Details option
  5. Check out the fees charged & timings
  6. Visit the Moneytree branch
  7. Endorse the check at the counter
  8. Submit your check
  9. Complete the verification process
  10. Choose a cashing method
  11. The amount will be credited

With Moneytree, you can either choose to take cash or get the check amount credited into your bank account or prepaid debit card.

Ask the Moneytree representative to deposit the check amount into your debit card as it is a fast & easy method.

All you have to do is simply provide your debit card to complete the check cashing process!!

Note: The check must be signed only at the counter. Already signed checks may get rejected

For example, in California, Moneytree charges 6.99% on personal checks. So, if you cash a $500 personal check, you end up paying a fee of $34.95.

In order to cash a personal check, you must provide a government-issued ID for verification and the check must be unsigned.

When cashing a personal check at a Moneytree branch, you’ll need to endorse the check by signing your name on the back.
