Today I became really aggravated with Publix in Bayside Lakes.
We have been shopping in Publix groceries for 32 years. The number one reason we shop there is the cleanliness of the stores, we overlook the ridiculous high prices. Also my husband worked there 28 years ago and at that time employees took pride in the work they did. They were trained to do their jobs. Today however is a different story.
Today however, from what I observe 75% of the employees could not care less about what they are doing. When we off load groceries from our cart at the register we put them the way we would like them bagged. Cold foods, bottles & cans, fruits, bread, pastries etc, eggs,. Some of the people packing the groceries could not care less. Today they mixed cold ingredients with my breads, bottles with my bananas, nectarines, plums. I got so frustrated and approached a manager and an associate who looked through my grocery bags and saw how things were packed. The manager “said” she would talk to the employee. This was the same manager who packed our grocery once and she did a poor job, packing the same way.
Today I paid $198.00 for my groceries, Publix did not give it to me free. The packing was a disaster. Teach your employees to take pride in their jobs, it reflects on Publix Management,
