WIC Stores Near You: The WIC program is a supplemental nutrition program that helps pregnant women, mothers who are breastfeeding, and children up to the age of five.
It provides vouchers for nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products.
Recipients can also use the vouchers to buy infant formula, cereal, and other nutritious foods.
As part of the program, eligible individuals will get benefits on their WIC EBT card. This card can be used to purchase food items at participating stores.
Using this card is similar to using a debit card or swiping a credit card. All you have to do is enter your 4-digit PIN in order to make a purchase.
Now, as you know, the WIC program is a part of SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).
So, if you are currently receiving benefits from SNAP, you will also be able to use your WIC EBT card to purchase food items at a nearby grocery store.
Wondering if the grocery store you usually shop at accepts the WIC EBT card? No problem! Just check out this list of all the stores that participate in the program.
